    Susan,

Thank you so much for putting this here. How do I do a trackback to your article?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

  2. A good start, if a little sparse in places. How about the specifics of what needs to be in the GPO, what changes required to ISA, etc?

I did put a reference in there to the CA procedure, which is pretty good for the port 5727. I was looking for the ports that are opened up by PPEnablePorts and AVEnablePorts, but I could not find it. CA’s docuementation needs to be better, like listing Port x needs to be open for TCP, Port y needs to be open for UDP, etc.

People keep telling me that I need to do something in ISA to make it work, but I haven’t touched ISA around the installation of CAPS (CA Protection Suite).

If anything, I use the FTP is OK switch in CEICW (brain is not so clear right now), so the rul works. I’ll check out what needs to be setup in there via ISA monitoring.

    Thank you for the suggestions,

    Jeff
