Got Vista? Get SBS 2003 SP1

The Official SBS Blog : SBS Vista Client Update (Ripcurl) Now Available:

The update to SBS’s connectcomputer and all the info you need to connect a Vista box to your network is now released.  The requirement is that you must be on SBS 2003 sp1 to install this (but I would hope if you installed Vista you’d be up to date on patches anyway)

Couple of things to keep in mind..at this time as far as I know, Trend Micro doesn’t have a Vista CSM that isn’t a ‘beta’ version.

Nod 32 does, not sure about the other vendors..keep that in mind as you deploy Vista….

2 Thoughts on “Got Vista? Get SBS 2003 SP1

  1. Just upgraded a XP machine to Vista. Try to run KB926505, and I get “Not enough storage is available to process this command”. Also records error 4373 in application log, but more info link does not lead anywhere. Anyone else see this?

4373 is an access denied… haven’t seen that

BTW 926505 goes on the server… if you are getting this error …reboot the server and try again.
