Please tell me we aren’t still fighting the security myths of XP and 2000?  Back when XP was relatively new there was a story about a security issue that you could get into XP if you used recovery media to boot.  You can use a linux boot disk as well.  You can get into any operating system if you have physical access and that’s why physical access to a system is very important.  But to consider this a security issue?  Folks… when we’re dealing with “non security issues” that we dealt with how many years ago? Haven’t we learned by now?
