Now while I’m not a fan of popconnector… sometimes for testing purposes you set one up…and did you know that there’s log files on the box so you can see what it’s doing?
For the actual pull of the emails the logs are located in C:\Program Files\Windows Small Business Server\Logs\pop3connector\
And you can see the raw details of the connection made. If the server does a normal scheduled pop pull it will log basic stuff. If you kick a manualy pop pull it will be an automatic verbose logging.
There’s also a SBS specific event log
Open up the event log, drill down under Applications and Service logs, drill down under Windows Small Business Server 2008, and then drill down under Microsoft Windows Small Business Server/Operational. Review the details in there for what’s what.
