Google is really trying to tick me off here today.

Google is really trying to tick me off here today.  I really am not a fan of the Google instant search.  It’s frozen my browser up once, and it is in general a tad disconcerting to be watching the results change.  Yes I’m a fuddy duddy, but hey, I am what I am.

Then I discover that Google’s Chrome is doing something funky with the blog captcha.

The blog spam capcha on Firefox or IE looks like this:

The capcha on Chrome looks like this:

Leaving it so that people on Chrome can’t comment.

That’s what the url is supposed to be, but it’s not resolving.

I’ll see if a later build of Chrome fixes it.

  1. Hi,

Just so you know, the Capcha doesn’t work in Chrome for OSX either, however its fine in Safari.

I’ve just had a look at it with Google’s developer tools in Chrome, and it looks like the captcha is seen as a 0x0 image. I suspect that must be from the actual file, as the HTML does not have any size information.

I suspect that if you put height=35 width =135 in the HTML tag, that would straighten it out.
