It’s bad enough that we’re seeing scam Microsoft support calls, I’m seeing them on the paid ads for Google and Bing.
This is what I hate to see: too much reliance on third-party search providers.
My rule of thumb is: if you don’t know which page on a website has the content you are looking for, go to the main website for the company and use their inline search engine. Or alternately, use the quick links at the bottom.
….or there’s this old thing called a “Site Map”….gee, I wonder what a map is for….
