    Oy vey!

For a while, I’ve been having to run a VM of WS2008R2 and Exchange 2010 sp1 (on a Mac, no less)… It works well, except the VM is wanting more than the 1GB I gave it, and the Mac wants less.

Server back from the dead (An Dual Opteron 2216, 12GB, 3Ware RAID card, all good to go).

Put WSE 2012 on it, in anticipation of doing a crossgrade from the Mac to it, and Exchange 2013. NOPE! Can’t until SP3 of Exchange 2010, expected in the next 2-3 months.

Now, I’m doing a new domain, and will export mailboxes to PST on WS2008R2 and import them into a fresh WS2008R2 with Exchange 2013.*

Don’t even get me started on the fun of the Metro interface while remoting in with an iPhone.

*yes, I know I can do SBS2011, and do Exchange 2010->Exchange 2010, where’s the fun in that?
