Some of our external clients are experiencing problems accessing our sharepoint portal site. Some are reporting getting the NT security dialog box each time they try and navigate around the system.

What sort of settings should I be asking the clients to check?

Firewall?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Graham

If they can access the site its unlikley to be a firewall issue.  Perhaps they are running a diffrent version of windows / office that does not meet the requirements.

Usually, the multiple logon boxes has more to do with high IE security settings than anything else.  As a test, set all your IE settings to low (I know, bad security, but it’s only a test) and see if you continue to get the logon boxes.  If not, then you have your answer – either set the IE security settings lower or live with multiple logon boxes.
