Visual Studio 2014 CTP Available

Microsoft has recently released the first CTP for Visual Studio 2014.  Feel free to download it if you’re interested.  But a very big word of caution – it cannot be installed on any machine running a previous version of Visual Studio.  There is a check in the installer to prevent it (although you can work around it if you are feeling brazen).  Therefore you’ll want to use a virtual machine.

The release notes are here.  There isn’t too much mentioned so far beyond bringing in the ASP.NET vNext framework and lots of standards change for C++ and, of course, the use of Roslyn.  You can download it from MSDN Subscriber Downloads or:
