Dinner with Bill Ryan and Dana Coffey

I meant to post this weeks ago, but forgot. A couple of weeks ago I went out to dinner with Bill Ryan, his girlfriend Kim, and Dana Coffey. I hadn’t met Bill or Dana in person before. They’re just as cool in person as they are over the Internet. The more and more I hang around Bill the more things I find out we have in common. We have the same taste in music and humor among other things. I think he’s my long lost twin.

Spam of the year

I get a ton of spam every day from blog comments to emails. Here’s what I feel deserves the spam of the year award.

The spam email of the year goes to, “Don’t click. Just type.”

And the spam blog comment of the year goes to, “Good day! Why do dogs eat their poop?”

Good day!

Why do dogs eat their poop? One reason dogs eat their poop is because it just plain taste

good.  Another reason is it could be a vitamin deficiency.  One other reason for the poop

eating is that it is an instinctual behavior in the wild to eat the poop to keep other predators

from tracking their movements.

Some solutions for stopping poop eating are:  You can put meat tenderizer on it.

What do you think?

By the way, I love that too!  How did you find that?

See you soon! WonderGirl

GhostDoc

Dean Fiala was telling me about GhostDoc, which looks like it could be a promising replacement for NDoc. If so, then that would be cool as NDoc was put to rest and to this date there hasn’t been an add-in for generating documentation based off of XML comments for .NET 2.0 that I’m aware of other than a hack for NDoc and some 3rd party add-in I tried (but can’t remember the name) that failed upon generating the documentation.
