Spyware Sucks

Please do NOT do that to me again Windows Home Server…

August 15th 2014 in Off Topic / Funny Stuff A “server connection lost” alert pops up on my Mac.  I look at my WHS and all drive lights are out and there’s the infamous flashing blue light… in all the years I’ve had that WHS it has never rebooted in the middle of the day like that.

Thankfully all came back to life after a few minutes.  I’m going to assume the gosh darned thing was restarting after installing updates or something… I just wish that WHS was designed to alert you when it is going to install updates, or is currently installing updates – maybe by changing an indicator light color.

Nothing like a silly fright to get the blood pumping.
