I’ve been involved with the Australian Architecture Forum for some time now, from the outside through an involvement with IASA.  Now that I’m with Object I have an opportunity to be involved from the inside, given that Object run the conference, and I’ve been putting a lot of time into the planning of this year’s Forum.  It therefore gives me great pleasure to announce that the Australian Architecture Forum (AAF) is ready to accept registrations. Sustainable Architecture Presentation

I’ve finally uploaded the slides from the Sustainable Architecture Design presentation that I presented in May at the JAOO conference in Sydney and Brisbane.  The synopsis of the presentation is as follows: Sustainability is not just something that organisations can aim for to be nice or for marketing reasons.  Rather, as governments increasingly aim to put a price on carbon electricity and the price of hardware will increase as the cost of carbon is passed on.
