The Automatic Updates Service starts and then stops automatically

SYMPTOMS Automatic Update Services stop automatically. The Background Intelligent Transfer Service service terminated with service-specific error 2147500053 (0x80004015). Error 0x8DDD0018 / Error 0x800a0046 CAUSE If you change the properties of  the Automatic Updates service (via Computer Configuration, Windows Settings, Security Settings, System Services) to set it as Disabled or edited the ACL on this service, then Automatic Updates service will not start. WSUS OEP News Group  is not working! …again checking with the WSUS Team.
