Back on the Blog

For those keeping score, there’s a graffiti’d version of the Green Check back on the blog.  It signifies that I’m putting it back because with the WSUS 3.0 updated version of R2 businesses can add a rule to auto approve Windows Defender and stay healthy.  That’s not to say I get green checks all the time, especially as I haven’t yet decided if I want to take the chance of approving IMF’s in that Update Rollup category, but with the SVCHost fix now out, and the ability to add a rule in WSUS 3.0 for Defender and the fact that I think the R2 version of WSUS 3.0 is easier to use than the native WSUS console….. in honor of all of that… the green check logo is back on the blog.

Besides … it’s R2 Friday after all…

OMG!!! THE GREEN CHECK OF SECURITINESS!?!?!??!?

    🙂

We gave the SBS Evangelical Choir such hell over that little improvement with R2 last year, some really, really funny names, etc.

And you know the saddest thing that has come out of it all? This is the first time in months that I’ve seen that check anywhere including our many R2 boxes, aside from Microsoft sites. Are we just insecure or does the green check of health come with unreasonable expectations?

I’m sorry it’s now Saturday. You have to wait until next Friday to get your R2 pot shots in.
