Problem Description

the client computers are updated but not report to the WSUS Server

Cause
——–
This issue can occur if one of the following is true:

1. This issue may occur due to the SUSID
1.) Perform the following steps on the client workstations.
a. Run command “net stop wuauserv” in command prompt.
b. Delete the following registry keys:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\PingID
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\AccountDomainSid
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\SusClientId0x80200013
c. Run command “net start wuauserv” in command prompt.
4. On client computer, type following command:
wuauclt.exe /resetauthorization /detectnow

2. the problems may occur due to WUA files not being registered properly.

To registry the dll files, please perform the following command in command
prompt:
