Dear Mrs. Vlad:

April Fools day is coming up.  That special day that geeks love to play pranks.

And I just spotted the perfect way to get back at Mr. Vlad.  Take this piece of software talked about on this blog —  http://chakkaradeep.wordpress.com/2008/02/08/rocketdock/ called RocketDock and install it on Vlad’s Windows servers… one of his important ones, like the run that powers his Outlook Web Access… you know the Exchange 2007 servers…. and make it look like a Macintosh.  Then go install it on his desktop.  Don’t tell him you did it.  Make him think that you bought him a MacBook for a present or something and that all of his servers are now running Apple software.

Just don’t tell him I told you to do this.

Trust me… he’ll LOVE IT.

(no Apple Macintoshes were harmed during the making of this blog post)

This is actually quite useful!! Seems responsive, hardly hogs resources and drives the MAC guys nuts when they see it.

    Tee Hee!

I had two security instructors that would battle each other every semester if they left the room while leaving their macine on. My two favorite pranks were taking a screenshot of the desktop, delete all the icons, then put the screenshot with the icons as the background. The other one was to set the IE homepage to the “Internet Explorer cannot find this page” file.
