I have an issue with right mouse clicking. Or rather I had one. I couldn’t right mouse click in a browser session and then it would mess up my right mouse click context menu. I tried reregistering the browser. I tried reviewing the registry for certain keys that can block it. I tried everything I googled my heart out. I built a new profile and got my right mouse click back.
Then I had to move my profile contents from one profile to the other.
Ugh. But at least I have my right mouse click back. Amazing how little things can slow you down.
When you have weird symptoms related to context menus:
Get ShellExView from http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html and fire it up.
Sort by “Type,” and disable all the non-Microsoft context menu handlers (disable is on the r-click menu). This usually fixes the problem. If so, you can re-enable until you find the offender. Either leave it disabled, or remove/reinstall, get a newer version, etc.
