You posted the 32bit version that won’t help for SBS 2011 because these are only 64bit version.

The 64bit version of the 8.7 smart start isn’t yet available via the site, but there is a link to a hp ftp server that provides the right download:

You won’t be able to install the new SBS (or the old one) with that link.
You will need the 64 bit version 🙂

Do you probably know what to do if I want to install a SBS 2011 PREMIUM (64bit)? I am NOT able to install it via the smartstart defaults… Perhaps it’s “how to extract hp drivers from the smartstart dvd” to recreate a new installation image conaining them?
    Thanks a lot!

Premium is merely Windows 2008 R2 with SQL. Just use the Windows 2008 r2 defaults.

  5. patrick says:

Hi, thanks for your fast answer!
If I use “R2” the setup runs and installs the R2 Server. But I am not able to access the Small Business Server AddOns, i.e. Exchange and all the tool boxes and assistants!

  6. bradley says:

You said “premium”.. SBS premium add on is JUST Windows 2008 r2 and SQL. There is no Exchange. If you are looking for the normal SBS you need to order SBS 2011 Standard media.
