Known issues with this security update

Microsoft is investigating reports stating that, after you install this security update on a RRAS server, the server may no longer allow for incoming VPN connections, and previously-established connections are dropped.

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post more information in this article when the information becomes available. If you choose to remove the update and remain vulnerable, remember that you are reducing the security of your system. Be sure to review the vulnerability information that is listed in the security bulletin and apply the workarounds that are suggested.

So far I’ve only seen this reported with ISA server 2006 … anyone else seeing this?

    I had the same problem with our ISA Server 2006 and Windows Server 2003.

    After removing this patch and restart the server, everything works fine again.
