For those running SBS 2008 – if you’ve only MU’d or WSUS’d you might find that you are not offered KB2596741
There is a detection problem whereby if you have deployed SharePoint sp2, you won’t be offered sp3. If you don’t have sp3 you won’t be offered the last two security updates (last month and this month).
I have opened a case with Microsoft to investigate but fyi on SBS 2008, if you want to be ‘fully patched’ and you are not seeing this offered up to you, you probably don’t have SP3 on that box either.
I am unsure if this impacts normal SharePoint 2007 or just the SBS installed one.
For those running SBS 2011 – don’t forget to PSconfig.
