WSUS folks have finally published their WSUS 3.2 guidance – bottom line you won’t be able to manage the “build to build” upgrades via WSUS.  You will have to manually do the update or point the workstations to Microsoft update.

Then review this post about issues with the connector and how it has to be reinstalled each build to build process (for the time being)

and finally check out

    Hi Susan,

I don’t know whether your still tracking this or not but this is about Build 14251.1000(I am now on 14257.1000).

For the last two months I have been trying to setup a Entertainment center “Media Player for mostly Network NAS consumption” with some browser and VLC Internet access. To make a long story short, my 3rd attempt ended on an Atom PC on W 8.1 Home, which has just been returned, “probably in favor” of a NUC Intel Core i5 or i7 Gen 5. My advice is similar to Paul Thurrott about an Atom Celeron CPU……. (Don’t bother with it).

On 14251 I could access ALL of my NAS and all but but one Router through Explorer/Total Commander BUT not the CPC running W 8.1 Home…..
Prior to Build 11102 that was all I could access, go figure…..
When I get a new CPC(compact PC) I will let you know but we maybe on another new Build then as well.

    Best Regards,

    Crysta
