ConfigMgr 2007 – Is there any way I can stop the Administrator Console from trying to connect automatically to the ConfigMgr TechCenter?

Problem: On my servers that have a connection to the Internet, whenever I load the ConfigMgr Administrator Console it seems to take forever to load as I assume it is trying to connect to the System Center Configuration Manager TechCenter. Is there anyway I can prevent this? [More…]

Why is there a large number of files in the ‘<drive>:\Program Files (x86)\<install_directory>\AdminUI\AdminUILog’ directory on my Site Server?

Question: On my Site Server if I look in the “<drive>:\Program Files (x86)\<install_directory>\AdminUI\AdminUILog” directory it contains over 3 MILLION files (3,007,851 to be exact) taking up over 19 GB of disk space.
