Reminder: Upload Your Media Center Components To The Database

Please remember to take a few minutes out and upload your system
specs at Media Center Components.  It will only take you a few minutes and
should not only help when you are ready to build yourself a new Media Center
PC, but will also help others who are looking to get started both with older hardware
and with new hardware.  Once the database gets large enough, you will be able to use it to find the best hardware that has worked for others.

Only takes a few minutes, check it out here.

  1. So i filled mine out, but a little suggestion for the creator. if you’re going to have “Required” fields, don’t make the users have to click “Show/Hide”. Just show all the required fields, and leave the rest hidden.

    Just an FYI 🙂

  2. Well, I’m a lazy bugger and I’d do this if it would be able to parse my dx diagnostics — then it’s a two-click procedure 🙂

    Tip for version 2! 🙂

  3. Actually v1 had that. 🙂 Paul said over at TGB at the problem with that is that the tuner was only be seen by the chipset, not the actually tuner (eg. PVR-250). Also he said the motherboard was not seen.
