Some AMD computers unable to install Widows 10 (1903)

Windows 10 May 2019 Update Not Installing on Some AMD Systems

“The Windows 10 May 2019 Update does not install on systems powered by AMD Ryzen or AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors with AMD RAID drivers prior to 9.2.0.105 and configured in SATA or NVMe RAID mode.

As explained by Microsoft in a support document published today, when users will try to do a clean install of Windows 10 version 1903 or update the OS by applying the Windows 10 May Update, the installation will stop and the following error will be displayed:

AMD Ryzen™ or AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ configured in SATA or NVMe RAID mode.
A driver is installed that causes stability problems on Windows. This driver will be disabled. Check with your software/driver provider for an updated version that runs on this version of Windows.

This happens because the AMD RAID drivers on computers with AMD Ryzen or AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors are incompatible with the Windows 10 May 2019 update released three days ago, on May 21.”
