How to block access to a specific website

From ISA Manager:


Create a Destination Set that defines the domain
Then create a Deny Site & Content Rule that applies to that Destination Set

  2. well i found a forum on the internet not that long ago that let me blcok certain webistes by opening wordpad and a file den adding like "runescape.com" to then end of it and i would not be able to acess it, now im trying to unblock a site i blocked before but i have forgoteen what file to go to. if any of you know could you please e-mail me at i_dont_care112@hotmail.com and tell me please? thanks

  3. I know this was asked a year ago and will probably be irrelevant, but this topic came up top when i searched for a way to block sites. If this is the case for others looking for a way to block certain websites I found this that works :

    follow these instructions…

    then just type in the address you want to restrict and click add

    to unblock id assume ud do the same but allowing rather than blocking. hope it helps someone.

  5. What about blocking that same one site on a network of computers? I have a son that has issues with listening to me about not visiting some sites…

  8. in internet explorer, click tools, then internet options,click security,click trusted sites,click the sites button, then write down the website(with http://), then click add and click OK.

  10. Hi, i know how to block websites, but it is just as easy to remove the restriction. how can i protect the restricted sites from not being able to be removed?

  11. dont listen to these amateur advices.
    sites like google, facebook, orkut cannot be blocked by internet options-security tab.

    get a software for parental control.
