2004-12-12 “Jingle Bells”

Well, I just spent a fast paced weekend in South Bend, Indiana … and changing planes in Chicago. The weather got considerably colder as the weekend went on, but thankfully, no snow on the ground. I actually love the cold, as long as I know I’m returning to sunny Florida. The cold weather also can get us in the mood for the Christmas season. So, let’s jump into this week’s holiday toe tapper ….

Jingle Bells
(aka Microsoft)

Working through the night
On a server that we got
Did we load it right?

Where’s that book I bought?

Backup’s almost done
Surfin’ really flies,

What fun it is to boot and run
S-B-S is on the rise

Oh, Microsoft, S-B-S
What a hit you are
Oh, what fun it is to have
a system that runs far.

Oh, Microsoft, S-B-S
Working all the time
Oh, what fun it is to have
a system that’s so fine..

A day or two ago
I thought I’d remote in
And soon the server told
The trouble I was in
Event logs were no help
Misfortune seemed my lot
Services were stopping now
And to my car I hopped

Oh, Microsoft, S-B-S
The server’s crashed again
What a pain is to have
Working this weekend

Oh, Microsoft, P-S-S
Where’s the help I need?

When I tried to call you up

You’re all in New Dehli !
