I have been playing with GetMail for Outlook email searching from http://www.searchterrain.com for a month now. It has been searching my emails much faster than I thought. The seach experience has been exhilarating.
A good alternative I found for searching Outlook emails is GetMail of http://www.searchterrain.com. The best part is it does not slow down Outlook. It is interactive and responds to each character input.
About a month back I installed GetMail from http://www.searchterrain.com. On installation, GetMail easily indexed my pst files of 2 gigabytes. This is what I look for. GetMail is a freely floatable tiny Outlook email search window. I am able to work on any application simultaneously with this application hanging around.
