I never get many of these but one or two are persistent.

Hibernation use continues to put a regular error into Event Viewer, and as yet I have found no way to stop it .

There is,a CAPI2 entry, error 513. Cryptographic Services failed while processing the OnIdentity() call in the System Writer Object.. There is some good info here..

I have given myself the necessary permissions and hopefully the error will go away.

Not over yet:

The above fix created another problem and only affects AMD anything..

“The AODDriver4.2.0 service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the path specified.”

The fix for this is in Regedit.. Navigate as per the line below and then delete the key in its entirety..

‘Hkey local machine – system – control set 001 – aoddriver 4.2’

You will have to do the same for Control set 002 assuming that you have the entry. Mine doesn’t..

And to finish on a high note:

IE is now opening to the size I want without any intervention from me. Over the last two weeks, I have had to pull it out less and les, to the point where I don’t have to do it anymore.. for now at least..

The fix for this is PATIENCE..

Error 513, the CAPI2 issue has finally gone, as has the AODDriver 4.2.0 issue. So I just get three or four errors per day, all relating to going into hibernation. It isn’t much of an issue and may even be a false positive as the machine quite happily goes into and comes out of hibernation seamlessly.

So now the machine has gone back to being boring. There is nothing worse for a technician than a PC which has no problems..
