Email can be full of surprises but none more so that one I received in the last couple of days. ‘Skadden’ is a bona fide firm of lawyers based in New York City, but the email address of the sender ended in ‘.ru’ which is of Russian origin.


Russians don’t think that we are all stupid, but they know that a percentage of people will just have to know what is in the link given, and that is enough to infect one more computer with software which scans the computer for certain types of info and then ‘phones home’ to tell of everything that has been found.

Please do NOT fall for this type of scam, and ALWAYS look at the originating email ID..
