Tech·Ed EMEA 2008 Developers: Meet Me In Barcelona

Once again, I’ll be at an ATE Booth at Tech·Ed EMEA 2008 Developers.

As I already said about the PDC, what I like most of these events is networking with Microsoft staff and other attendees. So, if you want to meet me, I’ll be glad to meet you.

PDC2008: Meet Me In Los Angeles

It’s not the first time I try but, for one reason or another, this is the first time I will go to the PDC (Microsoft’s Professional Developers Conference).

According to the site “The PDC is designed for leading-edge developers and software architects. If you’re interested in the future of the Microsoft platform, you’re responsible for the technical strategy in your organization, or you’re a highly skilled developer who likes to delve deep into the heart of the platform, then the PDC is for you!”. If you fit this description, hurry up and register. Early bird discount has been extended until September 8th.

What I like most of these events is networking with Microsoft staff and other attendees. So, if you want to meet me, I’ll be glad to meet you.

Microsoft Tech-Ed EMEA 2008 – Registration Open

Microsoft Tech-Ed EMEA 2008 is open for registration.

Do notice that, this year, the event for IT Professionals happens before the event for Developers.

Windows Home Server + Tsunami Tidal: To the Family 2.0

During TechDays Portugal 2008, Microsoft Portugal and JP Sá Couto S.A., via its Tsunami brand, launched the first Portuguese machine with Windows Home Server: the Tsunami Tidal.

To mark the event, Tsunami held a contest offering one of these machines to the best sentence about it.

When you hear everyone talking about Web 2.0, Enterprise 2.0, Life 2.0 and being at an event that promoted a World 2.0, the sentence that immediately popped my mind was: To the Family 2.0.

And it was with this sentence that I won the contest.

As I was giving my session wihle at the same time, Tsunami kindly allowed me to receive the price by proxy: my friend Nuno Gomes.

See the videos and photos of the event.
