Do you know a young person in the USA that is just starting their IT career and would benefit from an intensive training program and scholarship?
Point them to the DevOps Collective site (DevOps Collective is the parent organization for powershell.org) https://devopscollective.org/2016/04/04/announcing-the-getgoing-it-ops-education-program-scholarship/
Initially this program is US only but we hope to make a global program in years to come
Have a look at the RSS feed available from http://powershell.com/cs/blogs/tips/
There are some good ideas in the tips and if nothing else it will get you thinking about PowerShell
I will be moderating a new forum for PowerShell on powershell.com http://powershell.com/cs/forums/217.aspx
The forum is slanted towards PowerShell and WMI but happy to take questions on any aspect of PowerShell
I had a nice email today renewing my MVP award for the next year. Many thanks to Microsoft for the award – its a great honour.
The PowerShell community has really grown in the last 12 month. Be very interesting to see where we can take it in the next 12
This blog’s page view counter went through the half million mark over night. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read and comment.
One of the innovations at TechEd thsi year was a blog aggregator. It is still going at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/events/teched/cc531163.aspx
The bloggers that contribute are a really good cross-section of the IT Community. The current list of contributors can be found at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/events/teched/cc512825.aspx
You should recognise a number of the names.
One of the good things is that Microsoft staff including PSS engineers are contributing as well.
An RSS feed is available from http://teched.indepthtalk.net/Feed.rss
Very strongly recommended
Check out what the TechEd bloggers are saying – http://www.microsoft.com/emea/teched2008/itpro/community/default.aspx

From Nathan – MMMUG leader
Here are the details of our September MMMUG meeting.
This event will be held in London at the MSFT offices in Cardinal Place near Victoria.
This month we have a exciting session led by John Stewart-Murray from Dialogic. John will be introducing telephony to us as IT Pros. We will cover useful terms and then look at common scenarios which you may encounter.
We will then also look at how telephony is becoming integrated into the Exchange world by talking about how the telephony world operates with the Exchange UM role.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday 10th September.
