The release to manufacturing (RTM) version of Exchange 2007 cannot be installed on Windows Server 2008. However, Exchange 2007 Service Pack 1 will be supported for installation on Windows Server 2008. While you cannot install Exchange 2007 RTM on Windows Server 2008, Exchange 2007 RTM will be supported with Windows Server 2008 RTM domain controllers. If you want to add the “send as” permission to distribution group, you can do this: Use GUI: 1.     Went to the mail enabled security group in AD Users and Computers  and brought up the properties of the group 2.     Click on the security tab and added the security group and provided Send As permissions OR We can use the following cmdlet from Exchange Management Shell:Add-ADPermission UniversalDistributionGroup -ExtendedRights Send-As -user UserWhoSends

A student asked about exporting mailbox in Exchange 2007 to pst file, I located the steps from net and re-post here: Export/Import to PST Requirements In order to export or import mailboxes to PST files the following requirements must be met: Export/Import to PST must be run from a 32 bit client machine with Exchange Management Tools installed (Version Exchange 2007 SP1 or later). The 32bit requirement comes from a dependency with the Outlook client. The reason is Offline Address Book not being updated. By default, Exchange generates the Offline Address Book once a day at 5AM.Besides, an Outlook 2007 client picks up the GAL entries using web distribution from the web based oab virtual directory. The OAB data is delivered to the directory every 8 hours by default. If you setup your first Exchange 2007 server        , global message size limits are configured as follows:                                      Outgoing message size :                      10240 KB                                    Incoming message size :                      10240 KB                                    Maximum number of recipients :      5000                             The settings can be configured with Exchange 2003 Exchange System Manager.
