We’ve started compiling a centralized list of User Groups around the world that host meeting centered around Microsoft System Center technologies.
You can find that page here:
If you want your User Group exposed to the System Center community, myITforum.com is the place to do it. myITforum.com represents the largest group of System Center customers in the world, and if you want to get noticed, you have to have a presence here.
The User Group listing page can be editing by anyone, but if you don’t want the hassle of developing a format of your own, send your User Group information along and we'll post it for you.
Send us the User Group name, your web site address, contact information, and a short blurb about your User Group.
If you want your User Group to get noticed and you want it to grow, you need to be listed here.
New England Area SMS User Group Meeting:
Meeting date is Wednesday, September 3 (next week) at 6:30 in Waltham. Details posted to the web!
PLEASE do not forget to register to allow us to have a proper headcount.
We’ve locked in Steve Kaczmarek and his documentation team to host the keynote discussion for this meeting…. We are also going to try and pry some details around R2 release from Jared Cook as well!
Steve ALWAYS provides an interesting and exciting meeting. We are doubly fortunate to have the rest of his team available online as well, so this should be a relay great night!
In case some of you do not know, Steve Kaczmarek is the author of SMS 2003 Administrator’s Companion, as well as the System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Administrator’s Companion. This is a HUGE honor for us. Steve is also the force behind the “superflows” Here is the System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Software Updates Synchronization Superflow: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=d509a9f4-e397-4d0a-89bb-fa3d68b9e8be&DisplayLang=en
Please make every effort to attend as Steve is adjusting his schedule while he is in town.
Incidentally – it’s a User Group started by Microsoft…
Doesn’t this seem a bit off?

Marco says it is, and he’s laid out some cool things he’s planning for this fall, winter, and early next year.
We just need to figure out how to get him off that Blogspot thingie so more people hear about it.
