I wait all year for native strawberries

This weekend I’ve eaten a whole quart of native strawberries – there’s nothing like them. They are so much sweeter than the ones you can get in the grocery store the rest of year. And they are red all the way to the center – not white like those other ones from Florida that you get in January. I’ll probably eat some every day for the next few weeks – the season is short and you’ve got to get them while you can. Native strawberries
