Microsoft closing NNTP newsgroups – moving their customers to web-based forums

Microsoft announced yesterday that beginning in June 2010, they will begin closing their NNTP newsgroups and migrating users to Microsoft forums that include Microsoft Answers, TechNet and MSDN.
