The replacement e805 that Toshiba sent me in June seems to be failing. I’m hoping it’s just the faulty touch screen digitizer problem I’ve read about on other sites.
On July 23, 2004, Toshiba posted the Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition Update for the e800/e805. Has anyone tried it? How did it go?
They agreed that 3 times was enough – they are sending a box via UPS to collect the broken one and everything that came with it (except the CD) – as soon as they get it back, they will send me a new one. Happy happy dance of joy!

My Toshiba e805 arrived home yesterday, after its second trip to Toshiba for repair.I’m not sure what they did the first time, but it didn’t fix the problem. This time I called and found out they replaced the motherboard. Hopefully this time it’s fixed for good.
